Ahead of 之前 的用法

當要用英文表達在…之前的時候，有很多種不同情形，一起來看看底下例句，學會最基本的說法喔！

• My brother arrived home ahead of us. 我哥哥在我們之前到家。

除此之外，還有以下三個常見用法。

• I bumped into a car in front of me because it stopped suddenly. 我撞到了前面的車子，因為他緊急煞停。

• Make sure you’re back by midnight. 請你在午夜之前回來。

• Sue used to work in the theater.  Sue以前在電影院工作過。

ahead of可用於表達時間和空間上的狀態，in front of 只用於空間 by和used to則用於時間
