V4 – 範圍約1000cc – 3000cc 或是 1 to 3 L
V6 – 範圍約2500cc – 4300cc或是2.4L to 4.L
V8 – 範圍約3000cc – 8000cc 或是3L to 8L
When travelling abroad, it’s important to note that is you decide to hire a car (or bike) while overseas, it can vary from country to country the terms, sizes and meanings. For example, if you wanted to hire a Volkswagen, we would normally say VW (or vee dub) and if you wanted to hire a Benz….we normally would say a Mercedes (because Benz also make trucks). The next hurdle, is the size of the car, you may be asked do you want a V4 (range from 1000cc – 3000cc or 1 to 3 Litre) or a V6 (range from 2500cc – 4300cc or 2.4L to 4.L), or V8 (range from 3000cc – 8000cc or 3L to 8L) for example the early 1970s USA Cadillac Eldorado was a 8.2L …..this is the size of the motor in the car.
Around town, it’s advised to get a V4 (or 4 cylinder) to avoid petrol costs and the stop starting at traffic lights. If you are travelling with 4-6 people then a V6 would be advised so you have the power to pull the weight (or 6 cylinder is a better option) and a V8 is usually used on long trips (over 250km at one time)
If you decide to get a bus, its normally for short distances, however a Coach is what you need for long distances (again over 250km) – a Coach is a bus used on long distances and normally has air-conditioning as well as a toilet and TV onboard

如果你決定要搭公車(bus)，通常距離是短程的，如果是長程(超過250公里之類)就是搭乘「Coach」，這類巴士上面大都備有冷氣、廁所和電視。
